No just front for now. I have to put longer fronts on.

 

So after having the last 4 days off after the flooding (my part of base got the worst of it) we had to go in and get an idea of how bad things were. This is the only way to work.







And most of my area is still under water.

noooooooooo headstrong predicted my delivery on the 28th. i just pmed them to see if i can get an expedited shipping.

 

Um it's kinda a right now thing. dont know if yall heard but my wheel bearing took a shit today still trying to figure out how the hell to get it back home. @voz @Sandman614 @mrbedgood @Blkvoodoo anybody got any ideas. if it is gonna be two weeks out for a bamaboy or the jersey built guys hubs what the heck am i gonna do for two weeks. @Sandman614 has 4x4 hubs and bearings that would more than likely hold me til i can get another set. the question then becomes can we get his on mine and they work or are we kinda out of luck there? the only overall difference is the hole in the hub where the cotter pin is that holds the cv axle. ideas guys.

 

I said I wanted to keep mine, because #hardcorewheeler. Check around, I'm sure there are others around. Time to do some searching. Maybe @JimboAnz could TWexpress them if nearby?

 

@David Loflin i will give you 2 options

OPTION 1 ) I have 2 new uninstalled hub bearings for my truck, my plan was to do them this weekend, $550 the cost of the bearings and they are yours, either myself or maybe @Sandman614 will walk you thru installing them. These were purchased 2 weeks ago from Bamatoy

OPTION 2 ) I install my new bearings, i sell my old ones, $50ea. they work, they aren't perfect, a light growl from one of them i think, its why i'm replacing them, 268k miles. maybe its the noise i'm hearing, maybe not, i can't really place where its coming from. the noise i'm hearing may well be a rear axle bearing, or the carrier bearing ( hope not, thats only got 20k on it ) selecting this option i want whats left of your old ones, i want mine for the wheel flanges. i got plans and ideas....

as far as using 4x4 flanges, you'll need the outer of a CV shaft to make them work, as the outer spline and nut hold the flange into the bearing. where the 2wd have a flange nut holding things together.
