Nice job. Where did you buy the plastic cover? I have the homelink, but that is pretty slick.

Search online, call your local dealers, nothing is unobtainable, just have to dig deep enough.

It adds 50 horsepower and 2 mpg.

Which one is that? Looks similar to the one I've been thinking of going with.

That's what they cost, you wanna play, you gota pay. Personally, I wouldn't pay even half that for one. They'll come down in price when the fad wears off just like everything else.

Offensive stickers and stuff the wife doesn't know about.
    Hey Turd Gen Owners
So I have been off the grid for the last few weeks, just been mad busy on this deployment (missin family and my Taco like mad, at least we have a fuck ton of up-armored Land Cruisers and non-armored Hiluxes here to play with and of course the Middle East version of the Bang Bus the Toyota Hiace good in Japan not for tall Americans haha...) and just got back on today since I had some down time and wasn't passed out the moment I flop down on my rack. So I get my wife to take the Taco in to Malloy Toyota of Winchester, VA...boy was this a CF! So let me begin...
I call the dealership on our MWR phone here (if you know how those work it's not cool to hog it for more than like 10 min) of course put on hold for 10ish min alone...Finally talk to service writer give him my list of complaints and what I want done extra. We had previously planned on getting the hood re-glue (tried to get a Sport hood, no dice but can't blame me for tryin!) and getting the tranny fluid manually checked so those were to be done this service. (Already had the TSDB done). I am told sure have your wife bring it by anytime and we will keep it overnight so we can check the fluid sure fine and good, tell him since I am deployed my wife's gonna need a loaner (nothing fancy or anything but keeping my new almost 40k truck overnight to fix yall's fuck up, loaner is the least you can do. He says he will have to check to make sure he can, so I'm like ok but I'll just have her go somewhere else if not (am I wrong for asking for a loaner...really?) So we schedule to drop off anytime Wed, service and check tranny Thursday. I tell him to call my wife and let her know there will be a loaner for her, ok he says will do! Wed comes, she take the truck in, lady at service desk "THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HERE TUESDAY NIGHT FOR WED SERVICE!", my wife's like uh ok, insert "But did you die...?" here...my wife's like ok but my husband made the appt and definitely said Wed for Thursday service. Next issue...wife is like "Oh and I'm suppose to get a loaner since it's being kept overnight" service lady "They are all being detailed right now so you can't have one!"...really? Every one? All 15ish? You have 15 people detailing all 15 cars at the same time...? :oldglory: (Insert BULLSHIT FLAG here,oh and Merca!)...Oh and my wife has our sick 20m/o son with her, who recently had to go to the ER and ICU for a freaky seizure event which docs said was prob just a freak thing thankfully ruling out Epilepsy and some other common disorders:amen: (thanks Big Man upstairs) and (fuck that damn near killed me when I was told that thousands of miles away and not a damn thing I could do...fuckin deployments sometimes...). Anyways so my wife has to call her mother to come get her and my son which is a good 50m round trip, I was livid:mad::annoyed::frusty:(dealership:bananadead:) when I was hearing this as you can imagine. So she get's home, no calls or anything from the dealership for 2 days, So I call the dealership, everything was fine and has been done...I have to ask about the tranny fluid lvl (prob why he wasn't planning on mentioning it)..."Oh let's see we did check that and it was only a little over 2 qts low... Me: DaFaq! :censored: I literally asked him if "he was shitting me, while maniacally laughing", he didn't answer...so I was like well I'm glad yall wouldn't manually check it oh I dunno when I asked you to do it at my 5k service. Oh and we didn't address your hood, your mileage is "within range" (14-16ish combined) and no I don't drive it crazy, mostly highway or on my property. Along with a couple other items conveniently ignored... Hang up call Corp...they note my comments and say the service manager will call my wife, I wouldn't like to be on the Toyota side of that call since my wife knows how much I love my truck and how hard I worked to finally get it esp since I haven't had a vehicle of my own in 5-6 years. Coming up on at least 6 days (middleeast shit hole time) and no call...So where has everyone else gone with their low tranny fluid issues, what have you got Toyota to do? I really want them to replace tranny partially on principle, I already have the 8yr/100k ext warranty but I think that should be besides the pt. Really need to find a dealer with an awesome service dept because I am done with the two I have used so far. Anyways hope everyone is doing well, hopefully I'll get to catch up, I'm pretty far behind on my spot in this thread, like 300ish pages behind... Advice welcomed either by reply or pm. Happy Sat and Freedom the Fuck On!

Obviously not. Not unless you have some kind of an mountable frame so that it won't jiggle around and pay an arm and a limb for it.
Have you not seen the front end of a 2017 yet? The trim piece where the Rigid Industries light goes in is different between the two models.

One has a plastic housing with the 19 watt the other is glass with the 55 watt. Either way, they all mount the same way. I bought the glass ones and I'm using 30 watt H11 LED bulbs in them.

Most toyota parts online stores get them in small batches. You can either preorder or get on their waiting list and they email you when they come in. The trick is finding a seller who isn't asking list or near list price because of the shortage!
