mild trails in delaware county, PA or nj

Does any one know any mild trails in Delaware county, PA or just over the brigde in NJ. I have a prerunner and no offroading experience so im just looking for something mild to get started with and to get the truck a little dirty. any idea welcome.

 

Any National Forests out your way? I spent a weekend at Allegheny NF and the only way to get to the site was with a high clearance vehicle.

 

not that i know of im basically just outside of the philly airport

 

Let me know if you find one. I've got little to no offroading experience, so I wouldn't mind starting small.

 

i know of one place in media but idk if its legal and i havn't tired it cuz u have to go down so old train track and i need some one with me cuz my luck i would get hungup at a goofy angle or something stupid. anyway if i find anything i will let you know maybe we can go run it together, i would feel better knowing i had a 4x4 with me lol

damn really i never got the chance to really check it out i was hold off for someone to join me. you know any places in jersey that are some what close to us? where/ what is the c&d canal?

yeah i live like 4 miles away from the canal but the cops kick you out.

 

they don't say anything to you if you stay on the beaten path with your truck but if you have a four wheeler or any unreg vehicle they will take it and kick u out and fine you. they kicked me out for riding around in my truck.
PS: the canal is all clay that shit is hard to get off.

I don't know about mild but that PA turnpike always seem to have it's fair share of pot holes and sections of missing concrete (like 20" deep!

 

In the Roxborough / Manayunk area of Philly. I'm down to drive anywhere, though.
