I work for HD but still get all my hardware from there. Crazy selection- much more than HD

 

After reading about the LCA alignment cams, bolts seizing up due to corrosion/salt/brine , I decided to do the preventive maintenance.
Not fun doing the front bolts on the lca's they were a Bugaboo, one more winter and Seize city. Got them apart one by one , fucked up a bolt and one cam putting it back together. Went to dealer and got 2 new bolts and cams ... Because something was telling me to get 2 and not just the one I needed. That was a good move because I fucked that one too !
Second try ... or third , was the charm. I Neversiezed everything including my clothes , tools , and the thong I was wearing while doing this job.

OK ... here's the question... after I got done and drove it a mile the Trac control light came on .... the one with the squiggly lines behind the car ..
Had it aligned today but that light won't go off ?

I ask here because I just spent 2-1/2 hrs searching the sites for answers , which included tightening your gas cap ( I tried that too ) .... No luck
I'm sure somebody knows the answer ....

 

Did that .... don't see anything unusual or out of place

My money is on that your alignment is way out of whack, despite your being careful to out the cams back where the were. Just had this happen to me after I did my lift and I rushed through my alignment and my toe was pretty far off.

 

How cheap?

 

Did you try adjusting yer banana hammock?

 

There are only a few pieces to the abs system, just magnetic switches in the hubs and the cables that connect. I needed the yaw adjust after my lift, but those only last a few seconds. It is possible that a rear sensor is giving that alert as well. The scanner is the most direct way to check.

 

Finally got my BAMF LCA skids and #HomerTaco's made TRD grill letters back from the paint shop. Had them color coded BRM. When I picked them up I asked how much do I owe you, the man said, the boss said NO CHARGE.

Uhh not really. Although the house we rent isn't to far it's basically right up the rd. And my grandparents live right down the road. I'm actually getting ready to go down there and pull me rear. Brakes apart I think I have some dirt or something in my rear drum. Because every so often the driverside rear tire will lock up Put it in reverse and it will roll a few feet then act like your hitting the brakes. I've been doing a lot of hunting. And I go around a big puddle. Every so often I go through the puddle it usually gives me trouble after I go through the puddle for a few days then is fine. So I'm gonna tear it apart to see what is going on.
