i've got a shit ton of things to do tomorrow, that was just one of the options i have to work on. i got a junk trailer to load, a tree to cut up and move, my work van to clean out and inventory, shed clean out and make useable again. any all or none of this shit may take place, depends on how i feel and what my wife has in mind. the earlier you get here, the better chance you got of getting shit done. i'm 10 miles east of Clayton off of 42 you have my number

 

man the money that got those wheels and tires was insurance money. bust my balls all you want i dont really care anymore. stickers were a couple dollars i didnt think it was going to get this bad this quick. its whatever man. after getting those tires and wheels put on i noticed it getting worse and me and tim narrowed it down to that. i need the tires to get inspection done. my other ones were bald. i have a lot of other things going on besides this truck and trying to change my life for the better.

i have no idea how i will get there. my truck is not driveable at the moment.

i won't be able to get the headstrong ones in time. the ones from HS are +3"
if i order from toytec i can get them here before the 21st. they are +2". you think 2" is enough extension?

 

+2 not very long.

 

go to a local hydraulic shop in town, many of those places will/can make custom length brake hoses, even in braided, some have colors

 

Anything is better than nothing. You don't have a long travel axle setup.

 

also try toytec they keep +2 in stock as well

 

or try adding a rear hose from an earlier model to the existing, the earlier truck had the male fitting on one end and female on the other.

its been done on the older trucks for a long time.

use Rockauto as a visual reference tool, then go to local parts store, they're not expensive at all and will cover the distance you need with extra probably, just doesn't look cool and pretty

knowing how to talk to the parts geeks is the toughest part of the battle. ( I use commercial counter, i don't have these issues so much anymore, but you need to know what you need, cuz even some of those guys aren't the brightest )

 

Ive done that on the Seagull, but I personally wouldnt want to do the easy route on my DD, for $60 get whats made for the truck. The Hydro shops around hear will be just as much trust me I know

 

wasn't sure how fast a solution was needed, just tossing out ideas for a quick fix, cheap and temporary, and a back up for if the fancy stuff gets trashed.
