Has anyone actually ran the Magnuson/Bully dog combo? Searching here and the net doesn't give me great confidence in Bully Dog.

I think people need to do more research on this. The TRD reflash makes the system run rich to allow optimal performance with a safety margin. Are the measurements different for this kit? From what I have read they aren't. The TRD tune is reliable and well documented with users. I personally would prefer it over the fairly unknown bullydog system. Again that would be subject to change if impeller sizes etc are different.

Or maybe the unichip? They're saying you can't use the TRD reflash with the Magnuson...

I wouldn't worry about having to get a new clutch right away, so long as you aren't driving like a maniac all the time and fry your clutch so bad it's destroyed then your stock clutch will get the job done, it will likely just wear out faster.

If you plan on taking it to the the race track and recording times then yeah, should probably put in a stage 2 URD clutch. But if you're doing that there's probably other upgrades to be done as well. Otherwise I think you're good to wait until the stock one wears out

I didn't say it wouldn't, I'm not arguing with you dude. I'm just saying if you're worried about having to budget for a new one at the same time as getting a supercharger then you don't have to.

I've had a stock clutch on mine for almost 3 months now with no issues. The clutch I had in before had a bad TOB but I have no idea how hard the previous owner drove it.

I think you took my post the wrong way. Not arguing at all. I'm sure the clutch would be fine. I was implying with the added fun, it would be hard not to exercise it regularly...

probably 10-20 in hp and tq or 1-2 extra lbs of boost. The biggest thing is it just moves the power band lower, so you get a much better off idle increase. I highly recommend doing the pulley upgrade.
