You know what the ideal width is for them closed? Have a box of bungee cords in the garage, I'm sure that some are close enough.

Items that you buy with the 20% coupon do not count towards your dividend at the end of the year.

I'm curious to know as well. I have used the bungee cords to try and "keep it all together" when I close up the tent, but most of it usually ends up having to be stuffed back inside anyway. If these are for the bungee cords to help the tent collapse on itself does anyone have a pic of the proper setup?

I used my regular debit card, so didn't get dividend points (you generally don't get those for items with the 20% off), but not sure if you get them if you use a REI cc

It's at the South Bass trailhead, SE3 on Havasupai Point. When I get back to my laptop I'll post up some solid directions for the local boys, because half the info online isn't accurate.

ETA: have to pass through the Rez, then the NF again, then back into the park.

Cabelas also started carrying Tepui RTT's for those that are members there, so there is an opportunity for points and discount. Just FYI.

Finally, after a year of pining, I'm part of the family. Can't wait to go camping.

    Stuff. Also things.
I just realized that I never posted a pic in here now that the tent is mounted up and basically good to go!

I definitely have a few things to work on, but overall, it was outstanding! I did end up immediately ditching the cheesy factory cinch straps. The Velcro was a joke. I replaced them with some top quality NRS cam straps that did a great job of snugging the tent down. I also used some Velcro guitar cable straps to secure the cover straps. My buddy's strap on his RTT failed, and the end with the D-ring ended up flailing around and breaking the back window of his FJ. Screw that.

Anyway, here she is on her maiden voyage!
