Was hoping for less wait time than that. Website said 4 weeks, but I don't know how often it's updated.

As for the powder coat...I'll try it out. If it doesn't work out, then I'll get them done in bedliner.

Unfortunately there currently isn't any directions. I'm waiting on mine to arrive and I'm going to do a full write up for Nathan and the guys at CBI to send out with their bumpers for installation. I believe there's a few how to for bumpers on here but the easiest one to follow is on YouTube look up Insain bumper install and it's a fairly good step by step

Dang that sucks. I saw the Insain fab video. But the cbi has more brackets than just the one to relocate the power steering cooler. We will see what I start cutting today. Maybe I can get you some pics today

No issues whatsoever. The handling did not change much either. But then again I already have a ton of weight on it (all RCI skids, rails, tent, racks with gear and fuel) and daily it like that so I don't waste time when I head out on the weekends.

Did you order aluminum? I was told I had to wait so long for my bumper because him they had fit issues that they were working on. Well today uninstalled mine, and its off center. It's about 3/16 off, needs to be more toward the driver side. It sounds like exactly the problem they had at the beginning. I will be calling them tomorrow.

I ordered the aluminum (made a lot of customized changes to the front and rear so they are still being built)... like any aftermarket part sometimes their product may be right on specs with their jigs but each vehicle is different and there's going to be a chance that sometimes you have to slightly modify to get it to fit... now if its a centering issue double check everything to make sure your cuts were even and that everything is flush... 3/16" is nothing compared to a few inches... just keep that in mind... everyone expects OEM fitment from aftermarket parts and its not always the case/rarely ever is the case but its typically a small unnoticeable difference...

I talked to them this morning. They said that the Tacoma bodies are known to be off. So to measure from frame do different points to see if it is square with the frame. Then I can see how much adjustment I have. I will probably have to split the difference as far as final fit goes.

My body was off so far that the front body mounts were not even in the buckets! I made Toyota realign the cab on my first service, the tech said he has seen this several times.

Debating between the CBI bumper, the CBI high front receiver mount, or the CBI winch mount. I can't find pictures of the final two online. Anyone order one yet? The only thing I don't like about the CBI bumper (other than it is $250 to ship something that weighs 42lbs) is that you have to cut the stock bumper.

Most of the current after market options require cutting of the front bumper.
