Just dropped my spare for the first time since owning this truck :anonymous:
    It's a 265/70 R16 Rugged Fail.

Is there anyway of telling the manufactured date on it? It's seems to be holding air and is in better condition than I expected.

Is it of any use to me though? I'm running 33x10.5r15 currently but don't have a full size spare.

No drilling. They clamp on. You'll need to buy the appropriate fit kit to go with whichever style of rack you choose.

What springs did you end up going with and also tire size?

I have the OME kit also but have yet to put it on. Just curious to see what you have compared to what I have, like to stance of yours and I'd be better off changing things before everything goes on. Looks good man

I originally went with the 880's and have since purchased the 881's. Now after looking at yours I'm debating going with the 882's. lol I will also be running 265/75/16 Duratracs so the look will be very similar to yours.

Cheap spacers and blocks, 33's, poor man upgrades.
Id only use it for like 5 miles, haha had one of my 33s blow and my spare was bad and put like 50 miles on it to get to work and then to discount, just had major lean in the front. hopefully yours is in the front or the rear is a different story

I don't need it yet but I'm headed out next weekend. If it was useless I would leave it off and save the weight on my leafs but I'll probably tuck it back under there just in case.

The manufacture date is a four digit code next to the DOT number. Close to the bead. First two digits = week and last two digits = year.

I'm on my phone so I can't link an image but Google will show you.

Surprising easy! Worst part was getting the damn tie rod back on. Because the bolt kept spinning ha. Freezing it helped a ton, took like 5 seconds. Not yet I'm gonna try tomorrow if not next friday
