Anybody want to swap for a 2nd gen front diff with a ecgs bearing upgrade? I'll be sending it in as a core anyways

 

It also helped I just did a whole bunch of maintenance on her Subaru

I went up to the national forest with my brother, sister in law, nieces, and nephew to do some trap shooting today. Good times.

 

I can't figure out how to do this from my phone. TW seems to not allow whatever file format is native to the iPhone for video.

 

Did you try "upload a file" at the bottom or the media button at the top? I use the one below and seems to work

Can anyone with an ARE Topper... when you get a chance, check what brand/number struts you have? Mine just has the glass hatch,sliding half windows on the sides, sliding middle window up front i think a 100 series.
In December of last year I replaced both with the closest ones I could find... 10 months later, I have to replace them again. Theres a 5 year warranty, but only if you buy through them, which the increased prices reflect ($22 shipped on Amazon, $60 before shipping on their site).

The ones it came with were

Could the 0.4" difference be an issue?

 

Anyone running 255/85-16s on an 8" rim? I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some SCS rims but they only come in 16x8. I've seen some pics around the web with this combo and the rim lip looks completely exposed. Looking for pics if you got em.

I wouldn't, the 7" takes enough damage with that size.

Ya I am not sure. I would bet the part number is one of them.

 

One would think they would like to make it easy... or tolerable to find their products. Not so much.

I found a fitment guide that told me to measure the lengths and then go to an auto parts store. I did that the first time, and they couldnt find anything to match which is why I bought the others on Amazon. :/

 

Did you end up sanding the mount at all? Not sure if I want completely smooth look or not.

 

Not yet first task was cut to fit than wire it up make sure it works.

I do plan to go back and sand prime sand prime sand and coat. Still have some color match paint i was thinking of using. For now just looking for function.
