thank you. if the inferno in my first day pic would have been long bed it would have been mine. mountain bikes wouldn't fit with the gate up. we also tend to pack too much when we go camping and that extra foot actually makes a difference.

 

Is that an led strip in the bed? And what did you wire it to?

 

All that's left to do is remove the black vinyl between the front and back doors. Looks so much better without it.

 

Update on gas mileage with gears. Seems that after refilling the gas each time since the regear, it shows better mileage right away. I just refilled for second time and drove about 20 miles to take my wife out for sweetest day. Showed average of 21.3! A country rd. With a few stop signs. Probably about 55- 60 mph I would say. Can't wait to run gas out so I can fill up again if this stays the trend. Lol. Will have the 500 miles after this weekend, so will be making appointment for gear oil change.

 

Filling her up with petro for the weekend. Had just run it through our carwash. Nice thing about owning a carwash, the truck is never dirty for long. What's this stuff everyone is using to undercoat for winter?

 

Stopped by the dealer where I bought the truck today just to say hi and show him the truck. I had a small mob of employees circling the truck.

 

Took my wife out for a 15 year anniversary last night period went up to Lake City Wisconsin.. Round trip driving 55 to 60 miles an hour great gas mileage

Congratulations on the anniversary and gas mileage! With my lift and tires, if I can get 21 plus, I'll take it. Hell I'll take 18! We are working on our 18th. Funny thing is she broke up with me on Sweetest Day back in 1985. Me being 5 years older at the time was the reason. Now that 5 year difference isn't an issue! Lol. Where is Lake city?

My wife thinks this tacoma world thing is crazy and she doesn't get it! That's okay because I think her words with friends game is goofy! I guess that's maybe why we've been together so long, she does her thing anI do mine, and every once in a while we put our phones away to do something together! Seems to be working. My son is driving now, so him and his younger sister are off to a haunted house, while we sit next to each other all alone, on our phones. Lol

 

Some people just drive vehicles. And some people drive their vehicles and love their vehicles. You have a passion for vehicles. She just uses them to get one place to the next place. My wife is the same. She thinks sometimes I'm crazy. But it's fun to build up a vehicle. And drive it

 

Just read that last post to my wife and had her cracking up! Go badgers!
