Boost port is at the back of the supercharger body. It might be covered by a black or orange rubber nipple cover.

AFR sensors are installed in bungs welded onto your headers at the 2 & 10 o'clock positions.

@dark vader trd pro Do yourself a favor and do a retorque on everything you touched in about a week or two. Like, look up torque specs for each bolt and set torque for it. I was religious about torque spec when I installed and still found a couple bolts that loosened a hair after 2 weeks of boosting around. Shit, I recommend everyone torque check their truck straight from the dealership, just because I dont trust them as far as I can throw them lol

I read somewhere about reflashing the ECM remotely. Is this true? How's it done?

For Tacoma or in general? I've not heard about it for Tacoma, but any dealer can flash, so there isn't much need for a remote option. Outside of the Tacoma, some aftermarket tuners will offer a service where you can send your ECU in to be reprogrammed. And others with a 3rd party tuner will offer maps you can download for their tuner that you can then apply with a laptop.

I ask because I'm not sure how I'm going to get it done without removing the ecm from the truck and taking it to a dealer an hour and a half away. I dont really want to install the s/c and trailer my truck up there.

I think as long as u dont get in to boost u can drive but 1.5 hour trip below 2k rpm might be rough

There have been people who do it afterward and drive to the dealer, just pay attention to keep it out of boost. But that is quite far. I bet you could do it before the SC install and drive it home. Would run rich but would be lower risk I would think than afterward.

Ok, that would probably be doable. Hopefully the nearest dealer will reflash it for me!

Why not use the BD tune, that comes with the SC?

The SC tune or just the older NA tune?

I've searched and can't find any info on the SC tune by BD.

i haven't read anything good or bad from anyone running the bullydog tuner as their primary for of s/c everything I have read is from people who were running a bf tuner on top of the Toyota trd tune. I don't think Bullydog is really responsible for the magma son tune, it's more than likely just the vehicle magnuson used to deliver their tune to their customers.

@gersus You can drive just fine to the dealer, like they said though, stay out of boost. Boost is dependant on throttle position, so above all, keep your foot out of the gas until you reflash. RPMs wont put you in boost, I can redline my truck and still not boost (manual).
