What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Ran a Rostra back up cammy into my Kenwood head.
Pretty cool coming into the new age in my old truck !
Straight forward install, but I underestimated what was involved running the loam along the frame.
Worth the effort though, got to put the plastic back together in the AM

 

Threw this on, still got the 10mph shudder haha


Also painted and threw on an aluminum relentless fab tailgate reinforcement cap.

Threw the OEM skin on top as well to keep the tailgate stock looking.

Too dark for pics but it's pretty slick

Looks good but I'm afraid of spacers not safe imo

 

These are spidertrax hubcentric spacers, high quality parts. Only unsafe if not torques correctly

 

Plenty of people run them and wheel them without any issues. I just put them on today so we shall see

 

Today I added some mud and some more patches

Started figuring out how I want to do a sleeping platform and storage in my bed. Building it around having my 255/85 spare in the bed. Good thing I'm single, going to be narrow.
Also got my canopy lights wired into the factory Leer switch.

 

Replaced my driver's side LED head light, and threw on the TRD battery holder that @Coupe makes.

 

I've been running SpiderTrax spacers for 2.5 years with zero issues. Use a thread locker to attach the spacers and use a good quality torque wrench for all the fasteners and you'll be golden.

 

Got the truck lifted and new tires put on

 

Installed a 20in LED bar on my bull up

If lugs are torqued correctly, no need for thread locker. I've ran wheel spacers on 3 different trucks. Currently 1" Bora spacers that haven't been off for 2 years. (Will be removed soon to do brake job) I've checked them (with a torque wrench) a couple times. All good.

Wheel spacers get a bad rap. They have no more potential to do damage than a wheel with more offset. Track width is track width..... Get the lugs snug and no harm done.

 

I recall discussing wheel spacers in another thread with you, where you made the same claims as above. One of the reasons I decided to try them
