3rd Gen General Discussion Poster Child Thread and Weekend Drinking Haiku - Tacoma Flex Friday

Anybody drinking? I know I am. Probably a little too much, but still have my senses (at least for now).

Wondering what happened to @2016_dbag or @DesertTaco4x4 , anybody PM them or hear from them?

 

I've had a couple beers. Ready for #3 right meow.

 

I've had my 4-1/2 vodka and cranberry, so feeling a little happy, but not stupid yet. Quiet for a Flex Friday around here. Haven't flexed, hurt the back, so flexing is on hold for now.

 

Hey Larry, get better for your buddies wedding! It will be important to him, so best of luck to the groom and bride. Glad you'll make it to the wedding and give the best wishes they deserve.

The Ginger Ales from Henry's are the best! Not too sweet, not too 'tart'!

Coney Island Hard Root Beer is the perfect medium between what's out there so far. Not Too sweet/syrupy, like Not Your Father's, but not too ale-y like Best Damn Root Beer either. Perfect middle, the closest to Sarsaparilla/Root Beer that I've found so far!

 

FYI: I can not drink beer. The closest I can get is a hard Cider or Hard soda...

PS: TMI: Beer makes me INSTANTLY gag and, subsequently, throw up...

PPS: NSFW: I may have a 'kitty'... But in this respect I don't care if I am one too...

 

I like to add a bit of Sinfire or Fireball to my glass. Delicious!

 

So sorry I haven't posted in a while gentlemen! I've been super busy with work. I know, I know... Same excuse as last month. But this month is definitely different! Our Service Department hours went from 7am-7pm to 7am - 9pm... With that change, my schedule went to my preferential schedule... Was 7am - 4pm M-F to 7am - 6pm Tu-F!!! With the later (more) daily Service hours, my daily workload (paperwork) got much more loaded... I will try to keep posting here as I can.

P.S: I didn't dare a 'Flex Friday' pic today due to Hazardous Weather Conditions... I didn't want to chance my stock Taco flexing on a curb for fear that the wind gust would knock it over onto me... Lol! Can I post one tomorrow? Amid the 'storm'?

Well the wind gust warnings turned out to be all wrong here. No wind and little rain. How's it down there @Nylaia ? No issues here, but heard it may pass to the south.

 

Down in Portland, we got some rain and moderate wind. Supposed to get twice as much rain tomorrow, but we'll see.

 

Lucky you, Portland is one of my favourite places to visit.

We did get some rain in Van, but nothing that they were saying would happen. West coast weather is hard to predict. 9 times out of 10, they are wrong. At least our weather forecasters.

 

Generally, if they say a storm is coming, it doesn't. It's when they don't predict anything we get slammed.
