I just got the Taco last month. It only has 78,500 miles on it. Tranny seems to be fine.

 

Sounds like the only thing it's missing then is boost

 

You're past the warranty that comes with it.
If you want the 5 year 60 month you had to purchase it.

 

No, I realize that I am out of the warranty period. Just was not sure if the tranny could handle the boost.

I just now stumbled across this GB. I just bought my truck a few weeks ago and it's still a baby at 25k miles. The performance I would say is adequate, but it could use a little extra pep. Just to confirm, at 20% off we are looking at about $4000?

I don't generally spend this kind of money on modding my vehicles. I need to sleep on it. @big_jarv Put me down as a maybe, provided the 20% off threshold has been reached.

Regarding the compatibility of the TRD and magnuson products and flashes, from what I've read the tundra guys have the same questions we do, and more. Just as Tim says about our trucks, they're saying the TRD flash wont work with the Magnuson charger on the tundra either. There are small differences in the charger itself (improvements).
From what I've read Sparks Toyota seems really involved with superchargers (more than most dealers anyway).

Wow! I put mine on at about 25k. If you've owned it the entire time and can attest to good maintenance, it's a maybe. I would think you might have issues with things breaking. Part of that is driven by how you drive it. There are days when I'm a bad boy and lean on it hard.
