Ok well i was pulling pretty hard ... didn't want to break anything, i was thinking there may be some plastic locking tabs on bottom ... i put it back together the other day until i found out for sure how it came apart. So just yank it loose on bottom?

i like the regular chrome plated steel because of the durability but just don't see the point of plastic chrome. i also don't care for the black wheels because from afar, you can't really see them. they disappear into the tires and wheel well. so people spend all that money and you hardly notice the wheels. that's why i went with the bronze. went with black on the grill because i wanted the contrast to the toyota logo.

Once you take the two pins and screws just grab from the middle and pull towards you.

Grill surround practically falls off after the 2 pins and 2 screws are removed. Lean it towards you at the top, slips right out at the bottom. It's actually a little sad how cheesy it is and how easily it comes apart.

I once had a Black F150 , and bought white spoke wheels and painted them black , then bought and put on Chrome steel trim rings and Chrome lug nuts so it was not all black . It thought it looked great and on a budget , it was pretty inexpensive .

Finally got the glove box letter inserts in.
The vinyl is a bit of a brighter red than the panels, but it looks good to me!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg After about eight weeks waiting on a 2017 Tacoma MGM Sport 4X4 with JBL sound, technology package, mud flaps, factory Tonneau cover, side boards, bed mat, tinted windows, and installing black Clazzio leather seat covers, here it is! Could not be happier with all the accessories to include the seat covers, even the sore fingers I now have, after about 5 hours to install, with the help of my brother! Definately worth it though.

    Looking good!
Clazzios are the next big ticket item on my list.
What are your plans for the truck?

Plans? lol I have owned a Tacoma over 20 some years! Use it to do home jobs, drive to and from work, do some mountain driving, mostly on paved roads, and just enjoy the quality. Plan on keeping the truck a long time!
