Yeah...I've not had this up on the Sierra yet with a full load and my small trailer, but this is my first automatic in about 33 years, and I'll be adding dry weight to this truck, too. Damn.

I don't tow anything and probably never will, but I've heard it makes a difference for towing and people are overall happy with it.

Oh yeah, I've heard about all sorts of happiness regarding SCs. I'm just a bit more pragmatic about justification.

Well if you were considering it before, you'll be getting 20% off. So now is the best time. It'll probably never be cheaper than this.

And if you do tow then it's practical.

Also I don't think I've ever heard anyone say " I really wish I hadn't bought the supercharger"

Lol no shit. $1000 off ain't too shabby, and I'm sure I can find space on my shelf for it while it waits for me to get my suspension together.

I'll be saying that when it comes time to get mine rebuilt I'm sure, lol. Got another 80k or so to prepare so I'm good.

Plus, if you have the tow package with your automatic, you get a transmission cooler. I've yet to get an overheat light even with spirited driving.

This how I look at it, I was planning on doing URD headers, exhaust, intake, MAF calibrator and a lift kit on top of that next spring. I'm pretty confident the S/C will keep me smiling for a bit lol!
