What's going on everyone. Decided to make my own pistol holster for my center console. $5 plexiglass, $5 can of plastidip spray, a black hawk holster I already had. and some time to waste. Let me know what you think.

Looks good! How did you attach the holster to the plexiglass and the plexiglass to the inside of the console?

I traced the outline of the holster to the glass and then found where the holes went on the holster. Drilled 3 holes in the glass and attached it that way. (I taped the area of the glass so I could drill and it wouldn't crack) I used 3m doublesided tape to the back of the glass to the inside of the center console. I didn't want holes in the console.

Thanks! I'm going to do this. My current setup is suboptimal. Just one of my carry guns in a crossbreed holster sitting in the console. I'd much prefer the setup where the gun is vertical and not pointed at the passenger seat.

I love my crossbreed holster. Probably one of the most comfortable holsters I have ever used.

It's my favorite holster! Really comfortable.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Looks good. Too bad I can't do this with the salex organizer and tray. I might try and attach a holster under the seat although the lever might be in the way. My trucks at the shop, did yall see any other good spots while you were scouting for a place to put it?

Do you draw with your left or right hand? I have seen the magnet one that you can mount virtually anywhere you want. I've seen it under the steering wheel between your legs. Maybe this can help.

Right. I like the magnet, but I would really like to keep the trigger guard covered. Someone has a grenade stuck to it in the Amazon reviews haha.

I agree with the trigger guard.

I have the salex divider and I trimmed it down to just 4 slots. There was plenty of room for my set up, holster, and .380
I didn't get a tray because I had this in mind, and his unwillingness to assist in my 4 slot setup questions. So out came the rotary tool.
    It worked like a charm.

Mic holster, trigger guard covered, considering mounting a safari land with system to remove entire holster/pistol package so trigger covered at all times.
