I lived in San Diego for 17 years and rode year around for 16 of those. Those days are over. But a good winter ride is nice.

 

Just gotta watch the snow birds

 

I think it was like 20 degrees.
Maine weather is not biker friendly. But it sure beats the weather down south. I know two people that have lost everything in the last week. I'll stay up here for now untill I can't stand the cold and shoveling anymore.

 

Be careful. There was a fatality just up road from me. Car pulled out if front of bike and got t boned. Man and woman on the bike. Don't know which died or both. It was still sitting by the gas station when I stopped to fill up.

 

They aren't all here yet, but their presence is known. I work for BLM (equipment operator/maintenance) and we have the Long Term Visitor Areas and my wife works at the grocery store (Frys/kroger) so we're knee deep all the time. Plus where we live is adjacent to a 55 and older community so driving gets interesting. But that's part of the reason I go to work so early. Then by the time I get off work they're well into "happy hour" and it's just us working stiffs on the road.

 

No rain today, so no pics of me doing the naked rain dance...sorry Susan.

 

I remember driving out there In-laws lived off of Country Club and Arizona

 

ever try ice fishing? obviously where i live its not a thing and i don't really fish but it may be another way for you to be able to fish

i have to say you look different than i remember of the picture you posted a while ago and it is nice to put faes with names. i understand on the internet some like to remain fairly anonimous and i can respect that also

 

it kinda depends where down here you are also. but maine is beautiful and your home who could blame you for staying

i guess i'm weird or something but it always bothers the crap out of me when i hear of things like this. all i can think of is whoever this person is got up on a regular morning either to go to work or do whatever not knowing it's the last day they've been givin'. it reconfirms my belief to be thankful for every day good or bad

 

and i' sure socal is thankful for another dry day
