Hey guys, have a problem. I need to get the faulty gas cap code cleared off my son's 4runner. He took it to Autozone near Librety. They read the code but, would not clear it. Does anyone have a recommendation of where he can have it clear for free. Also, how is toyota dealer in Lynghburg?

Toyota dealer is iffy ... I've had some run ins with them, he can grab one of those cheap Bluetooth scanners and clear it himself... i need to buy a new scanner too, thanks for reminding me lol

Haley Toyota in Roanoke I heard is pretty decent! Most of us tend to try to take on things ourselves lol ... if he needs help, let us know, we can hook him up or get him somewhere that can! ... Bluetooth scanner connects to you phone and can read and delete codes, I believe they have them at autozone, advance auto or oreillys!

I'll be up in Lynchburg at the end of the month. Going to do some exploring the area, checkout the Snowden area and the road going to the quarry. Company is welcome to meet up with us. We don't have any plan time or schedule as of now.

 

Hit me up bud! You bringing your Tacoma? Or will you be wheeling the 4runner? We have shoe creek here, and Potts mt in Blacksburg ... both great off road parks! I'm sure there are more that other guys would be willing to let you know about!

 

I'll be bringing my Tacoma. Its basically stock.

 

Hmmm shoe creek and Potts may be a little hard on a stock truck, but we can find something a little more moderate so we can all go!

 

Yea avoid all Toyota dealers in Lynchburg. Haley Toyota is the only decent dealership in the area in Roanoke, Advance auto should be able to clear that code for free, if not they are lying.

 

Shoe creek is closed, Can't do Potts stock.
