It's pretty cool that Shanny had 13 numbers raised to the roof and retired this year. The team is definitely trying to set a winning attitude and forget about the dry years.

With Marner getting his first goal of the season and the Leafs having no trouble with the Bruins I think that the culture shift is already working well for the young kids.

It's palpable for sure. Youth has been the show around the league so far, of course we are only a couple of games in...

The beat up Buffalo Sabers delivered quite the pounding to the Oilers tonight. I guess Katz better cancel the parade, or at least have someone hold back the deposit.

 

Which is exactly why I wasn't getting excited before. Talbot is just awful!!! And even though the big plug got himself a goal (although a chimp could of popped that one in).......he was useless once again. McDavid is really starting to get roughed up.....and he hasn't done shit!!
Defence is still pretty weak. And a major giveaway squad. The firepower couldn't outgun a solid Buffalo team.
