I'm assuming that's a plastic bed cover between the shell and bedsides? When I took mine off there was a nice ring of rust around the entire bed.

It's a plastic cover that covers just the top of the bedside. Might need to remove it. Thanks.

BTW, I'm an old man.

 

I just got done removing the smallest leaf in the 3 leaf kit. Dropped the ass back down about a 1/2", so i still have some rake, which i wanted. The take off vibe is gone, there is still a very slight/brief vibe at 10mph but goes away after that. I'm satisfied......... for now

My camera angle in the second pic is a little off from the first one, but you get the idea. It's slight, but look at the hole in the frame above the tire for comparison.

So me going get a camper top tomorrow will put me in the old man status also. Wife said last night when I told her I was getting one she said that's what old men have on their trucks. I guess I'm turning old. At least my son can sleep in it when we go on out trip out west next year.

What's especially strange is, I'm quite a bit older than any of you, and I DON'T have a topper on my truck. So it's not 100% "an old man thing"
