Replaced Off Road chrome grill with custom painted SR5 grill. i like chrome accents but the full chrome grill was too much.

I searched this because I saw your comment on another thread. Took me to this thread! Could you expand on this? Or hit me with a link? I just got my truck about a week ago and am trying to absorb everything I can before going down the mod road.

Yea for sure. Definitely recommend getting it done. That is, unless your truck isnt exhibiting the known issues. I recommend bring a copy of the TSB with you.

    Here are some links.

Awesome! Ya I have notice dramatic down shifts on hills, and a slight delay a few times when going from park or reverse to drive.
The harsh first shift I can't say I've felt. But then again I've been driving a wrangler so this is a whole new animal for me.
    Thank you!!

How do you like the ride quality versus stock?

It's definitely different. A lot stiffer than stock but I'm coming from a prerunner sport with OMEs so I'm used to it.

I actually called my mechanic and said "man this suspension is tight" it's really the UCAs, they take a while to break in.

Mounted the Baofeng HAM radio and external hand set with a few mini mag mounts.
    IMG_3168.jpg
    IMG_3169.jpg

Underneath dash, the mount bracket fit perfectly. right above the worthless "cubby hole"
    IMG_3170.jpg
    IMG_3167.jpg

May get an external antenna and roof mag mount later, but this should work for now.

Also, wired power for my GoPro. Got tired of the thing dying on me mid trail. Linked it to my phone for easier controls. Can use it as a dash cam as well if needed.

Was pretty straight forward, used mini clips where needed and routed the cable down the "sport" hand and down the door weather stripping.

Went inside the glove box, around the top with the mini clips and out the bottom. For 100% hidden cable I would have had to drill a hole somewhere. I contemplated it for about an hour but decided not to, as the rules for this build is "no hole drilling" :) That may change down the road though.

Sorry for the shitty pics, the one day I planned to do this, it rained in SoCAL.

I have the spot, I had an issue with my bill, I called and they fixed everything right away and comped me unlimited tracking.

Your build looks great, I want the offroad DCLB but we get screwed over here in Canada.
