I ran stoptech on my track evo, loved them.

But this would require 6 new rims for me, so will wait until I go 35's and new steelies that I can space to clear these beasts.

That's pretty much the same boat I'm in now, but take advantage of the savings. Think of the savings!

What about the increased demand on the master cyclinder?

It is fully compatible with the stock master cylinder ABS and traction control systems.

Their Web page did not say if this kit was compatible with 16 inch wheels or if 17s were needed.

You would not be limited by the wheel size, but by the clearance. I would assume they work with 16's, but would need to space them out farther. May want to call Stoptech and then update this thread.

If you have enough offerset to clear the calipers yes, but for most of us 17's are required. I'm waiting to get 17's so I can install mine.

Here is pic of how the rotor fits on my 16's.

And the size of the capture with a radio for reference.

This would be a cool upgrade but I like my TRD wheels on my 2012 too much. Would having wheelspacets help with the wheel clearance?

You would need a lot of backspacing. Enough so that the wheel is not over the caliper.
