Has anyone put these FJ Cruiser wheels on a 3rd Generation yet? I'm considering this because I like the look of these wheels. [IMG]

if you change from the original wheels and go to the fj wheels, what does that do to the TPMS? Is re-programming of system required?

Not real familiar with the FJ wheels, but the sensors should swap over. I'm running the SR5 steel wheel sensors in my TRD pro wheels.

If you use the same sensors you won't need to reprogram. If the third gens show pressure at each tire, you'll need to use the sensors in their original locations.

Are you sure about this? I've had my wheels rotated already and the sensors seemed to correct themselves just fine.

on the note of TPMS can you buy aftermarket ones that work with the 3rd gen?
I'm thinking have separate monitors for my winter tyres and summer tyres.

I'm a noob when it comes to TPMS, never had them. Is it just the stem caps or is there something that goes inside the tire?
I'll have two sets of rims.

So Toyota doesn't let you rotate tires, right?

    Don't think so.

Just reset the TPMS and they'll find their new positions.

Reset is user doable. Reprogram requires a special tool.

If your sensors don't fit on the new wheels, get the sensors for the vehicle the wheels came with. They operate on pretty much the same frequencys. I have 2007 FJ wheels on my 2009 Tacoma, the original tacoma sensors wouldn't fit on the FJ wheels because of the angle. The FJ sensors, botled right on and programmed up just fine.
