Harlan's one of my favorite places to wheel, always a good time.

Found out at Harlan my stock leaves and AAL are limiting my rear travel, all the way drooped the fox's still have about 2.5 inches of travel not being used. I was going to get a winch next but I'm thinking I'll get leaves first
-Leaf Springs (dakar or all pro standards)
    -u-bolt flip
    -Extended brake lines
-winch (thinking smittybilt X20, buddy of mine just got one and its surprisingly nice)

Not a whole lot happening here recently, graduated and started working for Ferguson in Charlottesville so hopefully more things will be coming for the truck soonish. In the meantime I replaced my headlight housings with some Depo ones off Amazon, impressed with them and didn't realize how much my old headlights had oxidized and ruined the look of my truck.

Also replaced rotors with C-TEK premium rotors and pads with Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramic Pads which improved braking significantly

Done also got a torn CV boot on pass side, grease sprayed every which way down there, gonna have to replace that before Big Dogs Fall Crawl which I'm gonna try to make.

Well i went to battle at bristol and sometime along the journey my front grill surround got 2 cracks in it, no idea what from. Tried to epoxy it back together and that held for about a day... Ordered a new grille and just gonna have to not have the satoshi anymore :(

picked up a new cv from advance auto for $85 since the dealership wanted over $400 for one, obviously quality is gonna be worse but lifetime warranty (as long as you don't break it 10 times) so it'll do. Also gonna change the front diff oil for the first time, looking forward to some milky goodness from that.

well lady in front of me in a van slammed on her brakes to not hit another car which in turn meant i had to slam on my brakes but i did not stop in time. Front bumper I built is fucked so I'm buying a new one, leaning heavily towards CBI but also thinking about pelfrey and SOS, going to email all of them and look at lead times/shipping costs as well. Any advice is appreciated

    Pics of damage

doesn't look too bad but upper and lower control arms and tie rod and tire need replaced, quarter panel and fender and headlight need and some trim need replaced as well. You can see where the tubes bend and went into the trim and quarter panel. I'm on the sidewalk from where i tried to avoid hitting the car in front of me. I've read some things about how getting in an accident with a steel bumper can cause frame damage and total the vehicle but luckily my I such at welding and the welds broke on the bumper before the frame bent. Emailed CBI and current lead time is about 4-5 weeks and then 5-6 business days for shipping so I think I'm gonna go with a Moab 2.0 plate bumper with the center hoop. Wish i was still in school with buddies that had welders and such to make another bumper but with work i don't have the time or resources.

No one was injured which is the real blessing, the lady driving the other vehicle was very understanding of the whole thing and said there was nothing i could have done and even the police officer said the same and didn't issue a ticket.

Thanks, unfortunately they have to replace one of the headlights i installed a few weeks ago but the new grill i just put on emerged unscathed.

Sucks to shell out the coin so unexpectedly but those Moab 2.0 are slick.

I have some OEM UCAs laying around somewhere, if you need them lmk.

CBI Moab 2.0 front plate bumper with center hoop and powder coated ordered today!! Unfortunate circumstances and I'm going to miss my home built bumper but I'm pretty excited for the new one to get here!

Got the CBI bumper delivered and mounted last week, had to wait till the weekend to get pics in the daylight.

Bumper is badass, gonna miss having a bumper that I built but this one is obviously built way better and stronger. Couldn't be happier with it.
