Evening Sue !!

 

you have the sc and header and didn't put huge tires on the truck plus it's not loaded down with steel bumpers and skids what would you need to regear for? mines 4wd with heavy assed tires no sc or header and does fine.

A few of the pics from my trip to the river yesterday.

First stop was Stockholm pie company in Stockholm Wi. They are pretty famous and people come from a long ways, even a lot on the East Coast know about them somehow. If your going to blow the diet and have carbs might as well have the best triple chocolate pecan pie money can buy. Town has 66 people in it. Couple of years ago a guy from Mn. drove across the Mississippi River on the ice bridge and on the way back truck went through the ice. He lost the truck but managed to save both pies.


Test shot of sailboats on the other side of lake Pepin. Hazy, that sucks but have to live with it not much can do about it.


After taking care of a piece of pie headed to a good spot I know on the river to see what was around. Yellow Rumped Warbler headed South


Saw about a dozen resident Eagles. Only shot I got of them and quite far away. One mature and 2 juvies.


This pelican flying over the ever present coots. Also a good number of blue winged teal.


The Pelicans seemed to be all headed around a bend in the river so worked my way down stream. Yep, stacked up on a rock bar. Train headed North on the Mn. side of the River in the background.


Stacked up so solid I did a 12 picture panorama of them. Grouping to head South first time seen this many.


High 60's yesterday and today but then the temps drop to where they should be. Won't see these guys until next year now

Just going from 4.56 to 4.88 just to get a little more power , that's all . want just a little more gear to help on the mtn passes

i'm going to do the header to help on the lower end but trying to avoid having to look at something that exspensive. god lawd das alot o money when you look at a regear and lockers for a 4wd anyway

 

I was quoted $1900 for re gear and Detroit locker

 

that's a lot of dinero

 

We got around .050"

 

It is cooling off, they might ship well in the winter... But won't be fresh and think that is one of the keys to them being so good. The cows for the dairy aren't too far away, as it should be

 

Just money that's all !!
