Sometimes shit happens. Pics are cool.

One time in March when the river was choppy I ran our boat up on a flat at about 40mph (lily pads were barley starting to poke up through the surface . When the tide went out I was in the middle of a island and the dude from the marina brought my mom up to talk to me from their pontoon boat. They just laughed and took pics of me and left. I waited like 8 hours for the tide to come back by myself. Wish I new where the pictures were now.

I couldn't tell you how many times I have been in hairy situations and took a few picks to look back and recall what I made it through. Sometimes with the help of others and sometimes not.

I'm glad your OK and congratulations on doing the deed with a 2wd

I did not mean to imply that I thought there was drinking going on in this situation. When I wheel with others, I make an unspoken comittment to do whatever it takes to get everyone home safe, and that's a commitment I'm just not willing to make when folks are drinking. For all I know, the folks at Gorman were stone cold sober.

Well that doesn't sound good. Not good at all. I assume when you call him a member you are referring to the male organ and not somebody with a Tacomaworld user name.

Fair enough. I shouldn't have thrown that dart. In all fairness though, I was stationed in SOCAL for 15 years and spent a lot of time wheeling out there in trucks and on bikes. I'd never hit a trail I hadn't personally been on with just 2WD without scoping it out first. I'm not the best wheeler in the world, but I've logged a respectable amount of miles so your mileage may vary.

A glitch in the computer rendering/not enough RAM to keep up with the coding. Happens all the time with FPS, where you can walk through walls and look inside rooms without entering them.

Totally agree. And also agree the dude leaving them high and dry was a dick move. Glad they made it out and he found out who his real friends are.
