ok, i just bought a URD MAF calibrator. It seems like an awesome mod, but I'm not gonna lie, its way out of my league. To really tune it, what other products will I need? ie. scangauge? (All this stuff about air/fuel ratios and shit!(Or should I just have it done by a pro. My truck will have Volant CAI w/ ram air scoop, JBA shorty headers, custom exhaust w/ magnaflow mufflers, so it should be further tuned right......damn, why cant these things just be easy....thanks for the help!!!

The easiest tuning unit on the market is the APR X-1. Plug and Play and your done (for the most part).

As far as tuning with the URD MAF cal you will need to install a wideband and AFR gauge to monitor the engine AFR. You'll need a laptop with the SS second software to tune it.

Check out the U-Tune guide that Gadget made, that should help you.

I the only problem with the APR X1 is that it only works on 2nd generation Tacomas. Great product, not for the 3.4 L

Is the URD MAF sensor calibrator and the URD AFR sensor calibrator the same thing?

And is there the option of getting it pretuned to work with your engine mods?

I have answered all the emails in the que. If you have not gotten a response, we have not gotten your email for some reason.

Give Tech Support a call 877-887-3872 x3 and we will get you fixed up. We will need to know which version of the MAF Sensor Calibrator you have, what vehicle you are installing it in, what year it is, and what engine you have.
