    Just a heads up on the Pro grill, my local dealer said the only way they can order the grill, is if they have a VIN from a Pro or any Pro part, he said they received a memo from Toyota a couple of weeks ago. I know for the past year or so, even to get parts, you have to have your VIN and they enter it in their system. I know the parts man real well, have been getting parts from him for 18 yrs, he said he could order one if I provided him with a VIN of a purchased truck at least 2 months old, I guess it's because of everyone wanting a Pro grill and other parts. I did see a grill on a Barcelona Red Pro today, it looked good the red and black really compliment each other nicely.

    Some of the dealerships are ordering 50 a week directly from the manufacturer. Bypassing Toyota corporates rules and nonsense. Think they're made in Louisiana, they make most of the plastic parts, like fender flares, valances, etc..

    For me it wasn't even a choice. I'm in Canada, so importing an aftermarket grille around $400 USD makes no sense with shipping and duties...the TRD Pro grill here is $400 CAD lol

    yea I just took them off and painted them with white high heat paint that I had in my garage it looks good. the only reason I used that is because it was there.

    Here is where I am at currently with this grill project granted I see its dipping to the right which needs to be adjusted, think I am going to rework the mesh this weekend and recess it a bit more. Thoughts?Raptor Grill_2.jpg

    My dealer won't sell me one because he says he has to get them in white/red/cement and not just the insert, but also that he's not allowed to sell them "just because". Doh! I need to try that Tacoma WA dealer up north then!
