Even unloaded, that's awesome from a full-sized, 4wd pickup. Unloaded, I can toy around with 20 MPG on the highway in the summer if I'm careful but am usually in the 18-19 MPG range.

Yeah, for just tooling along on back roads it's awesome.
I find that my mileage on the highway is actually lower so far, around 18-20 (cruise control on at speeds in the 75-80 MPH range). Back roads (or really any sustained cruising) between 55-65 is definitely the sweet spot for this truck's engine/transmission/axle ratio configuration.

Do you know which axle ratio you have? There are quite a few of them for the F150. I'm guessing you don't have the 4:10 or 3:73 gearing.

    3.55's. And it's an E-locker that I can engage in either 2-hi, 4-hi, or 4-lo.

Actually got to use it this weekend, going up a steep incline with a loose gravel surface and I didn't feel like shifting to 4x4, lol.

Forgot the ferds has elockers. But thinking back the few fx4 trimmed f150s we had at work did have them. I recall using it specifically for burning out...

A couple of my have some marks from Saturday. Probably not too noticeable compared the rusty bolts on them.

Convenient not having to drop to 4-lo to use it. I was pulling up a slope and the rear end started hopping/skittering and spinning one of the wheels, which kicked on the traction control and cut the throttle. Pulled out the 4x4 switch and the locker immediately kicked in and both rear wheels hooked up and stopped hopping.
Nice not to have to do a 'grey wire mod' first too, lol.

Morning - back in the office. Had to cancel my vacation day for work :ballchain:
Hell I even worked from home yesterday despite using a vacation day...

Just paid for my bussman relay/fuse box but I have to pull off the ditch light brackets to get my windshield replaced...

    Morning, all.
How goes the battle so far this week?

Except for you, Jason. Your battle is depressing.

Losing my battle but still have high hopes for the war. I've been a string of 12-14 hour work days for the last 3 weeks. :pccoffee:

Morning everybody! I lost my battle - currently a POW in the prison camp. They're nice enough to give me home release each night...

Morning all! The battle wages on. I'm just a footsoldier though, so it's taking a toll. Next week is our huge demos and I've got fingers in two separate features they want to show. Lots of pressure.

In other news, my Pioneer 10" sub fit perfectly in my AC rear footwell. It is almost exactly level with those little cubbies. I had to move the seat up an inch or so, but it isn't noticeable. Great bass, great volume. All for a $95 subwoofer! I'm not even sure if I'll get a second one for the drivers side. If I did, I could use the two of them as supports for the platform. Just velcro it all together. Hmm....

I can take pics if anyone is interested on how they fit!
