Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

OH bow hunt was great, there are tons of deer in the southeast. and best of all none of the locals hunt until shotgun season. we did DIY on state land, I got a 7pt and doe, 1 guy got a doe and my buddy got the huge 11pt 185lb monster below. we also put the hurt on turkeys and coyotes..

 

oh, it's definitely time to get ready for winter. if anyone else wants a Fluid film spray Lethe me know.

I'm installing the leveling kit this weekend. hope it will go in smoothly

Damm that is a giant that sounds like a hell of a trip I'll definitely be looking into that next year

Hunted Potter and Tioga counties in North Central Pa. for close to 30 years. LOTS of State Game Land to hunt. One piece I hunted was 9000 acres. Sure, people went there, but rarely far in. Second week of rifle season you just about had it all to yourself.
I had thousands of acres on private land to hunt, but I always made trips to public land there.

Id also like to see a pic of your 7pt @surfandturf also I have some? ?s for ya about your trip like tags and license also location if you don't mind I'm trying to plan my first trip out of state and would appreciate any info

 

we were hunting areas between nelsonville and athens OH. tags and license are super easy online. everything is over the counter, no lottery needed like most western states. I would go again during archery season . no one else in the woods!

 

fyi. exit hole was on the opposite shoulder. not my best shot, long story. ..

 

Hey guys just joined the forum today. Not actually a Tacoma owner but the Jeep Wrangler forum is dead in New England. My buddy in mass told me to come over to Tacoma world sooo I'm here haha. I have a 2013 2 door Wrangler on stock suspension and 33" tires. Definitely interested in wheeling outings

 

Welcome were actually trying to plan something like a lil wheeling/camping trip might be a lil late for this year but definitely for next year. Where abouts you reside pal

 

Going to be in the Middletown/Middlefield area for the next couple years

That's so awesome, ya I'm definitely setting up a trip out that way next year for archery for sure either OH or PA, but after hearing about your wicked awesome experience I'm kinda leaning towards OH, congrats again on a stellar trip

 

Counting down the days till my first vacation of the year I'm off the week of November 7th till the 14th hopefully the RUT will be starting nicely by that point that will be archery for me still but the my second week off will be the week of Thanksgiving November 21st till the 28th and I'll be in the woods with my pals "SUDDEN" and "DEATH" hahaha jk just a Mossberg 500 platform with a cheap cabelas scope for 12g slug and my personal favorite the CVA OptimaV2 .50cal muzzleloader

Still in the air, probably not. Not enough discretionary money to go around. Current wish list: ARB bumper, lift, not to mention a gun or two. I'd like a SC, but I KNOW I'd need a new clutch soon.
