Anyone have any recommendations for replacement rear shocks and front struts with the spring already on it? I have about 105k miles and need to replace my tires and figured I'd replace the suspension while I'm at it.

No lift, just replacements. I don't need any extra lift. Just don't want to run to AutoZone and grab whatever they have off the shelf unless I have to.

    10-4.

You can get brand new OEM take off shocks with coils on this forum for super cheap, like $150.

That's an option. What happened to the Bilstein 4600 HD in your post? :)

I glossed over the part where you were looking for an assembled set of front shocks with coils.

It'd be easier/cheaper to buy take offs than buy new OEM style coils, plus 4600 HDs. Not sure who makes such a coil, or the price, but I figure that's an extra $150 just for the coil itself, plus you'd have to pay an assembly fee (I think it's $50-75 additional).. it adds up quick.

Especially in comparison to guys selling OEM suspension parts which have very little value on this forum.

Maybe this is a good place to post my question?
The only good about my last vehicle was that until you pulled out the key from the ignition you could roll down the windows. I am constantly shutting it down and then having the wife tell me to crack open a window. Is there a mod to apply power to the windows with the ignition off? I don't want it on permanently of course so I'd put it on a timer circuit so it was only active for a minute or two. Have not seen a good complete wiring diagram for the 2015 Prerunner Sport to even isolate where to tap in.

    Thanks
    bill

    Seems complicated..

FWIW, my truck will allow the windows to be controlled after engine shut down until the key is removed. I do have the dealer installed alarm, though I don't imagine this is a function of the alarm in any way.

I suppose I could be wrong.

Thanks, I have the factory alarm too. It is going in for the 10,000 mile checkup this week, I'll ask the dealer if they know. I looked thru the manual and nothing.

I sit here dumb and stupid. It does work, even my wife said no it doesn't but showed her. I think she had been cracking her door open and that does stop it. As does removing the key so we probably are both guilty of stopping the window.

And they say there is no dumb questions....

    thanks againbill
