    I found once source of a fuel leak. So needing to replace this gasket I thinking of good ol' cork. What the best way to make holes in cork? Leather punch...?

    Corksucking gasket!

    I'd do a synthetic fiber gasket or rubber, personally. Easier to cut, will probably hold up better in the long run. But yeah, those nifty leather punches would be the easiest method for getting round bolt holes.
