for people who have installed subwoofers behind your seats, do you miss the storage space?

where do you keep your jumper cables, emergency gears, ect?

Don't miss it at all as I didn't realize I had it prior to buying.

Never used the storage anyways. The way I look at it, I have a bed that can fit anything I need back there. Inside, I need moar box space!

this is good to hear. I am on the fence of putting in two tens. I thought I wanted to keep that space behind the driver side back seat for jumper cables, tow strap, ect., but I really want the extra sound.

Just curious in finding out if people really utilized that awkward shaped storage space before committing to filling both with speakers.

So my buddy wanted a 10 inch sub/amp rack, and storage. He ended up getting a dual 10 sub box, cutting the face off one side to use for storage while he had a 10/amp on the other side. So he got to keep some of his storage and have a sub/amp combo.

If you want a ported box, give up on the idea of storage. I did that, takes up the entire back wall almost.

I think I want two 10s, so I for sure will be giving up the whole wall.

I designed my enclosures so that I could retain the storage space.

    cool, do you mind sharing?

I feel a bit lost as to what my options are for the enclosure shapes/sizes and what subwoofers I can and can't fit. Can we fit anything larger than shallow mount sub such as the JL TW3? Can we fit regular sized speakers back there?

    I dunno - I have a 1st gen. I got a 10 inch Sundown SD3 between the hatches easily, but you're working with a different setup entirely.
