2017 TRD PRO, who's waiting?

My dealer got the trd pro in anddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd its a red. It was so hard to pass on but I just dont dig red vehicles.

 

It has 2.5 Fox Shocks. It has 1" lift front only.

 

Those that are only working with "major dealers" (assume a reference to high-volume) may be missing out. I went to a small dealer in a small city and they had 2 PROs on their lot---MT and an AT.

 

Congrats, you might have gotten the best deal so far. Keep us updated and post pictures. That red is beautiful

 

You sir are correct, bought mine sitting on the lot at a small dealer in North Olmsted Ohio.

 

This truck was on Autotrader, it's a manual and I think it was listed at $42,500 or something, I must have looked at the sticker wrong and I didn't have my reading glasses on it sucks getting old and having to rely on them more.

 

Just ordered a TRD Pro in White with MT through a well regarded car broker here in Canada.

All in, about $2000 under MSRP. Will have a bill of sale in a couple of days. Delivery estimated for February.

 

Does the Canadian Pro come with Fox2.5? I was in a few dealers in Toronto last week, and they all told me the pro in Canada only come with bilstein - shows only the Bilstein on the build sheet as well. Might just be a Toronto config?

If Toyota is badging the Canadian version the TRD Pro but giving it inferior equipment and just charging for mostly cosmetic upgrades, I'm going to be really pissed.

 

Well my other car is an Audi S4, so I'll live.

 

I also paid $1,000 below MSRP but it looks I'll have to wait four months for delivery.

 

I've "ordered" and picked options (none, really). But I think my salesman said we don't negotiate price until we have a VIN...and we don't get a VIN until the truck is here. True? Thoughts?

 

I purchased mine about a month ago from Augusta GA. They took $1,000 off msrp.

The dealer told me they have 2 allocations. Again, if they can't get the truck, I get my money back. If they bring me the truck I ordered, I have to buy it or I lose my deposit. I am supposed to get an update tomorrow or Thursday.

 

Ah, that's cool. Glad someone was able to benefit from me posting the pictures. How has the experience there been so far? My wife and I drove the 35 miles to that dealer to simply check out the Pro model. The gentleman that greeted us spoke enonics more than anything else. He was very willing to grab the keys and offered to let us test drive it. I didn't care to drive it but climbed inside to check out the interior. My goal was to check out the TRD Pro parts in person to see what I wanted to order for mine.

the oem tires on the pro's are 6 Ply's. ?? trying to find this tire online to get a price, so i know what to ask for them when i sell them.. goodyear doesnt list this size, did they put obsolete tires on our pro's
