The old rain-x blades used to work that way. They came with a cleaner, and the blades were silicone. They were awesome.

They say PIAA on them which looks cool... so far that's all I've been able to confirm. My entire post is sarcastic about buying these when I was up late shopping on eBay and regretting spending $50 in the morning. Now that they are on they do look cool

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
Christmas is here early this year. These just arrived via FedEx. They'll be installed as soon as the truck comes back from California. 20161018_131414.jpg

Quick shock question, not sure if this has been asked before. Does anyone know if these Bilsteins are valved for the Tacoma? I understand they are sized to fit, but valving is completely different.

They have digressive valving, is that what you mean? Or did you intend to ask if the shocks are "configured" for tacoma suspension. If that's the case the part number lookup tells me that the 6112 is for 2010-2015 Tacoma. the 5160 says 2010 - 2016 Tacoma.

Digressive valving refers to the character in which the shock absorbs bumps. What I meant was the valving itself, is it tuned for the Tacoma?

Take the TRD Pro for example, it comes with Fox shocks. Anyone can buy Fox shocks and install them on their Tacoma, but they will not perform the same as the TRD Pro shocks. This is because the TRD Pro comes with Fox Shocks tuned by TRD. Meaning, TRD took the time to dial in the Fox Shocks specifically for the Tacoma.

I suspect the same thing occurred with the TRD OffRoad and Bilstein. My question is, does anyone know if Bilstein or Fox use those TRD settings on their off the shelf product line for the Tacoma?

Well these arent the same as the Bilstein Off-Road shocks so I'm assuming the they are valved differently. All I can tell you is that they ride like a dream and the product number specifically labels Tacoma.

Today I installed a bed header rail, part # PT278-35100-BH on my 2017 DCSB TRD OR with OEM Tonneau. Fits perfectly.

No, I'm not entirely sure what I'll use it for right now, but it was cheap enough and I was ordering other stuff. I'd rather it be there and one day I need to secure stuff in the front than decide that day I wish I had it. :)

Yeah I ask for another apartment in another one of the project buildings but was told there are several other people ahead of me waiting on transfers. I'm thinking about going 1 county over and putting a application in for a government housing apartment. At times just sitting here at my computer for 30 to 45 minutes will have my nose plugged off and I'll be breathing through my mouth. Today it is not to bad. Only the gnats are.

Sheesh... Have you talked to your county health department? I'm fully of the opinion that mold issues are often WAY overblown (usually by remediation contractors), but also some folks are more sensitive to others and some situations are really really bad. Sounds like you're in one of the latter two cases.

You should probably report the property to local officials and get the hell out of there. Personally I'd have got myself a safe apartment before a new truck. Not judging, just sayin.

Thanks to some spares from a frame replacement I did, I gave my SR5 the front recovery hook upgradde from an older TRD OR.

Yes, two D's for a Double Dose of recovery options.

Red because it's the only paint I had at work. And it matches the rear shackle I have. IMG_0557.jpg IMG_0561.jpg

(Air dam was removed the morning after I got the truck)
