We have been 22 days without rain here in Mobile. Ironic since Mobile is the city with the most rain in the US.

One guy on the forum swears it rains every day in Mobile and sometimes he is correct, but not lately.

I spied a 2017 Quicksand TRD Pro Taco driving onto Redstone Aresenal gate 3 yesterday afternoon around 230-3. It had a roof rack and possibly bed rack system. Anybody on here or anyone on here know them? Sweet looking rig, especially the color!

WDE! Used to be a ton of places but city growth has destroyed them. There are some dirt roads north of Opelika that will get you to some paper company land but like @nagorb said nothing legal. You can wheel there at your own risk. Back in 95, before the airport extended the runway, there was a place called planet x. It was awesome! You could drive under the interstate, there where lots of gully's and washouts to crawl and even a creek bed to hit.
This creek, I'm sure it's still there, is behind what is now The Church of the Highlands I believe. You can probably still bet back there because there is a rainwater sewer line beside it.

This all ended with the airport construction and Moore's Mill Golf course. Out near Salem there is a place called Ghost town but I think it's all private property now.

I still want to get up to Talladega NF and camp. We've been so dang busy though we haven't had a chance to make it up that way.

TW world sucks for notifications. Well not TW but the software they use for the forums.

If you don't visit a thread every day or enough post goes by it stops giving you a heads up that new post have been made.

Yea I know. This software they use actually has the option for unlimited notifications but for some reason they limit it.

I own and run several small to large forums I built up as a hobby that has turned into a small side gig and I've never liked Vbulletin which is what TW uses. It's very expensive and there are a ton of open source and free options that are a lot better.

Just the nerd in me I guess though.

If you wanted to hold off a few weeks we could throw er on and go for some light wheeling.
