Atlanta is the wifes least favorite place to go. She usually had to go a few times a year, however she got out of the last 2 trips due to being preggo/ on mat leave. Probably one of the few benefits to growing a person in your gut.

 

Really need to find time to install my link skids and new links on before Sunday. Would also be nice to get my amber pods wired up, but that's probably a pipe dream at this point

Last time I was in Atlanta there was a car on fire every 25 miles on whatever highway I was on. Traffic was a nightmare and people drove worse than up here...

 

Not to mention every street is called "Peachtree"...

 

I think a big part of it is the biannual show she has to go to.there she hates. And it's hot as balls in the summer and she always seems to have issues at the airport in the winter

It is both. Especially warmer. If it snows there the highways shut down.

 

All relative. It's cheaper, but what companies will pay will get reduced as well.

 

True, but if I can buy a house outright there with my equity in my house here then I can work for less money.

 

For my industry I can make the same amount no matter where I live. Labor rates are less. But lots Atlanta is even cheaper than Charlotte

 

I'd have a better standard of living b/c I'd have eliminated a mortgage in my monthly bills. Shit, my wife could retire early even.

 

For those of you who are going. Where are you staying?

 

Is there any info about that? Did I miss something? I'm interested.
