    Hey everyone, quick question. So a buddy of mine stopped by the house and I was looking at his suspension. We both run OME dakar springs on our rigs. I noticed his inner rebound clip was missing his thru bolt. The clip is there and acts more like a cup but would not keep the leaves tight if the spring would be a full droop. I asked him about it and he said that wheelersoffroad.com recommended he install it that way as long as he is running the OL spring, which he is.

    @YotaDan any input?

    Does anyone else have thier disconnected?

    Does he have an extra leaf installed? If so there may not be room for the bolt. The clips are for alignment anyway and not really meant as any kind of limiter on droop, but can help minimize leaf separation during droop. Not that that hurts anything.

    He does as do I. That's why I'm asking. I was able to insert the bolt woth the extra aal. He said he gets an additional inch of droop out of it. If that's fine I'd like to remove mine as well as long as it doesn't wreck anything....

    The shocks are really what determine how much droop you get, but by removing the bolt it will droop out more easily.... It is possible that with the extra leaf in there that if it is tight against that alignment bolt it could possibly be limiting the droop some.
