Purchased a 2017 TRD sport Double Cab short bed with Predator steps last week. $33,500 out the door.
The offer is $34,500 (OTD) - ($1,500 rebate - game day rebate and graduate rebate) = $33k
I am sure you can get one for $33k but the dealership keep pushing their stuff like protection etc and ended up with $33,500.
    MSRP $34,567
    Inv: 32,979.63
    Sell Price: ($32,300 + $2,033.74[tax] + $ 317.25[fees] + $599[dealership accessories]) - $1,500 rebates = $33,749.99
    OTD: $33,500

Okay, NC so you're in SouthEast Toyota if I recall corectly. Invoice pricing would be $29,107 ($27,504 truck, $950 deliv, $579 tow, $149 door clear paint protection).

3.25% sales tax on a truck? Nice. $30k OTD less $945 puts it at $29,055. Just for discussion let's say $29,000 before title fee.

Seems to me that $100 under invoice plus taxes is a pretty good deal. Even without the warranty. (BTW, be sure to read the fine print so you know exactly what's required to keep it in force.)

I would recommend you ask if they can add option TL1000 "Tailgate Power Lock" to the truck. $174.90 invoice, $259 MSRP. Sure a Pop&Lock is cheaper, but seems it can be a bit involved to wire up, so the price difference depends on your skill level and time value.

I got my '17 DCSB TRD OR 4X4 with a factory tonneau cover, pro audio/navi, towing, lifetime powertrain, weather mats, for $36,957 out the door. Had to walk away at one point but I think its a killer deal.

When you say pro audio/navi, do you mean the premium and tech package with JBL? If so, yes that is a great deal.

Sorry, I am still a noob and mis-led; I have the Premium Entune or whatever its called. NOT premium tech with JBLs.

That makes more sense. You were $200 below invoice on your drive-out total cost. Dropping the $2702 invoice PremTech+JBL package brings it in line.

Depending on how much your tax rates and registration/title fees are, that's likely a good deal. Car sales taxes can vary widely, like from $0 to over 10% of the total, so without knowing that info it's tough to really assess the deal.

EDIT: Looks like total invoice would be $34470 without P&T JBL.

Taxes are almost 6% here in my area of FL. I paid approx (without giving exact numbers) about $2100 in tax and $200 for my tag.

Okay, then with the premium and tech package you basically have the same truck as me, for basically the same deal I got. So in that case yeah, great deal! :)

Okay, so if we back out $200 from your OTD, then pull back the 6% sales tax (($36957 - 200)/1.06) we get 34,676.

$200 over invoice with nothing else but taxes/tag is a good deal IMHO.

Thanks! haha it feels good to hear that from someone else.. Besides my mortgage, this is the most expensive and newest vehicle I have ever owned. I know this isn't what you would pay from another source, but the tonneau installed was showing at a value of $1029 (waits for tomatoes to be thrown) I KNOW that's not what you would pay buying it yourself elsewhere but I figured I dodged at least $800 spent elsewhere on a quality cover.

I also like that they offered lifetime powertrain (whether that's a gimmick or not) if I use it once, it could save me hundreds or thousands down the road.

Yes, the dealer I used offers similar. Underwritten by Fidelity, which I expect yours does as well. Read the fine print. It's actually not bad, and covers some stuff I wouldn't have thought it would such as the water pump. With a 4x4, I won't be surprised if I end up using it.

Then again since I didn't really pay anything for it, nothing lost if I don't use it. I could have bought my truck $300 less at a dealer an hour+ drive away vs. buying at the dealer 4 miles away.

Is this a good deal? It looks good but, It doesn't match the master list on invoice. Am I missing something? Also, what's this TBD fee? It's not on the invoice line. Bogus fee?

It seems like people are getting a good amount off of the higher equipped vehicles like the ones with all the accessories. Some are getting over 3k off. That's impressive.
