    Just recently installed some OME 2.75" Dakar leaf springs on my 06 access cab prerunner. This was supposed to be the last big mod. Well there have been 4 or 5 times now that when I hit a large bump on one side only, drivers side/pass side I hear and feel a "scrunch". It sounds like I am rubbing on the fender. But that does not make sence. I didn't rub when I had stock springs and a 2" Toytec AAL, Now Im at 2.75".......? There does not seem to be rub damage or any mark as all, and I went back and checked the tourque on everything. I am running Toyo Open Country A/T P265/70R17. Anyone have an idea?

    No. REAR tires. I know it sounds crazy. The wheels look pretty centered in the well. I can't tell if they are rubbing weather it would be the front or back of the tire.

    Oh geez. Only happens when you hit a bump on 1 side of the truck?

    Look for rub marks behind the tires, possibly on the shocks. Sounds like something that only rubs when the rear axle is articulated.

    You need a RTI type ramp or a spot where you can articulate your rear end and let it sit so you can inspect it.

    Ya, I Don't get it. I bought Wheelersoffroad.com's full OME rear set up package. Along with the Dakars I bought everything "Recomended" with the spring to avoid something exactly like this. Think calling Wheelersoffroad.com could help?

    If I am rubbing, how do I fix it? And cheaply? I know Silverback07 made some axle relocation plates because of a sim prob, but I didn't have access to much in the way of tools.

    Worth a shot....If you get the sound over bumps it should need to be a full articulation.
