Thanks Man, I just bought it about 1.5 mos. ago and this is my 1st mod. I've got about $2500 worth of stereo crap to cram in there next week and then it's on to lift + tires/wheels.

 

I felt under there with the truck running and I couldn't feel any of the exhaust shooting directly on the tire. Figured that was good enough.

Well, I work for a major electronics retailer so I got 50-65% off on everything or I never would have gone this far over the top but here goes

I ordered a sub box from a retailer (don't want to name them yet) but it was damaged in shipping and built too long for the space behind the rear seats. After receiving it I discovered that my amps would not fit on it anyway so I'm going to have a friend with a table saw help me build a new one that will work.

 

I'm also changing my dash from silver to black so I ordered a black double din dash kit, got the piece with the vents in black from toyotapartsonline.com, and picked up the AC controls in black from a local junk yard (they wouldn't sell me the vent piece unless I bought the whole dash).

 

What's best to make my stereo my phone when driving!

 

Do you mean "hands free calling"?

 

I mean to make my phone appear on my screen of my stereo. I know about the wiring harness already but what stereo would you recommend?

I put this one in my S10 and it has the best bluetooth integration I have ever seen. It can connect to 2 devices at once so I use my phone for calling and ipod for music all the time with no issues. I have a JVC in my work vehicle and have BT issues all the time. Every time I shut the vehicle off I have to reconnect the BT and wait. With this Pioneer it connects and picks up Sirius or Pandora right where you left off within seconds.

I'll have to let you know how the Kenwood works once I get it in. I'm a huge Pioneer fan and only bought this one because it was a deal I couldn't refuse.
