What did you pay for the swap

 

$60 + tax for TPMS swap, and mount and install new tires on new wheels

 

You provided the tires or they did as well?

 

The local Toyota dealership quoted me over 300 to do all that.

 

I brought in the tires and wheels. I called them one day and was quoted the $60 and I wa shocked. I asked for the name and said I'll go in the next day.
Went the next day with tires and wheels in my bed, and they did that and my transmission TSB.

 

That's a Great Deal!

The other guy said $300 and that sounds about right for a Toyota dealership.

How long did everything take? I'm guessing 2 hours.

Not sure, 4-ish? I dropped it off in the morning before I went to work, shuttle service dropped me back off (2 miles away) and then picked me back up around 2. I think they called and said it was ready at 12 but didn't go until later on

 

UUUUUGH I can't decide between black or gunmetal rims... all the pics of each look great on MGM, but the black I've seen in person look soooo good

 

I went back and forth too! Decided to stay with the matte black.

 

Never a doubt in my mind. I wanted the matte black from day 1. Still love them.

 

Never was a fan of trucks coming from small import cars but it is starting to grow on me. My one month progress. I was hesitant to get these tires thinking it would be loud but they are pretty darn quiet and smooth. Happy with the setup.

looks nice! what light bar do you have? I think you shoudl get rid of the air dam

 

Thanks! The light bar is from Caliraised and the mounts are from Apex Fabworks. I personally like the air dam. Without it, it would look too empty. A skidplate would be the only reason I would take it off.

 

Looks great! My '07 was your blue. Are you planning any lift? You should do the overlay vinyls on the Tacoma badges. It's a cheap upgrade.

 

Thanks! Not planning on any type of lift in the near future. Mainly got a truck to haul my bike and move stuff, it would make it harder to load if it was any higher. I still have to finish my other project and this truck is perfect for my daily.

Haha I plan on plastidipping all the emblems. I prefer the all black look.

 

Do you have a lift or is this just stock height?
