    they said it will work with the oem tonneau, which is a hard trifold...

    Brackets to allow use of our bed rack with tonneau covers.

    It will accommodate covers that are up to 63.25" wide and 2" thick. (the factory cover is 1.5" thick and 62.50" wide)

    The brackets are 3/16" thick steel.

    It has 0.50" of vertical adjustment.

    and those brackets wont compromise the ability to put a RTT on the rack? Awesome design, and thanks for listening to the community!

    It will still hold an RTT, and you can fill it with fat chicks.

    That"s good, cause fat chicks are the easiest ones to lure into my tent. Commit to making me a prototype sometime this week and I'll cancel my RCI order...do it for the fat chicks. They need love too.

    There won't be a prototype. The rack is already available and the new brackets are being sent to the shop asap.

    Looks awesome! Like the design concept. I had a question.

    Will this work with roll up tonneau covers like the TruXport Truxedo? I'm having a hard time imagine how this will work with a cover that gets thicker and thicker as you roll it up closer to the cab. Wouldn't the bottom of the rack that rests on the bracket prevent rolling up of these covers? I guess same would go for a tri fold cover that flips back on itself and gets thicker with each panel?

    Maybe I am missing something? Please set me straight. Hoping this works with the above covers because I love your bed rack the most out of the others I have seen.

    I believe he said that with the OEM trifold and any other folding tonneau, you wont be able to open it. I think he also said it'll work with roll ups but not all the way.

    I'll be using a pace edwards switchblade or something similar...so this is perfect for me

    Thanks for the info. Yeah with a switchblade this would work perfect as long as the rails for the switchblade won't interfere with these brackets. For me, and my roll up cover, it's not going to work. I need to be able to open it up all the way.

    @KB, shouldnt the slider play be on the outside of the bed, not inside on the rail? lol

    Well with it on the inside it doesn't really work unless I'm missing something. Any adjustment would just be jacking up your tonneau, not allowing it to close and letting in water and debris.

    And that's a constant measurement regardless of tonneau. Bed rail to top of bed side rails doesn't change. He wants to allow differences in thickness of tonneaus, which is why it needs to be on the outside.

    But I agree, some kind of locking mechanism, other than a nut would be nice. I didn't think about that.
