Hard to imagine they make much money with these, even with the high volume sales

    Bumper = 600$
    Ebay fees -60$
    paypal fee -17$
Shipping cost has to be about 100$?
powdercoating has to be at least another 50$?

That leaves about 375$ leftover for them who knows how much the steel costs+labor etc..

Im hoping If I call him and ask for a non-powdercoated one and skip the ebay process he should be able to take 100$ off easy right? Anyone else try this? Im color matching the bumper anyways so no need for powdercoat

Well, I've gotten mine in, it's well made.
Very heavy and it has nice weld lines.
It seems rather sturdy and robust.
However the nuts and bolts seem rather average, those are getting replaced.
The coating has a very odd slick feel to it.
It's very good at resisting abrasions but cuts easy with a knife. It's has a different composition than any other coating I've felt.
    Maybe it IS lead-based... lolz

Who has installed this bumper on a 2015? I am interested in knowing what needs to be trimmed, the guy on eBay wasn't very clear.

Do you plan on using this offroad? I ask because on the 12-15, it's extremely close to the grill and flexing it might cause damage. Someone in here went through the trouble of mounting it then replaced it with something else because it was too close.

If you just want the looks and the occasional fireroad, then a notch needs to be cut to clear the AC compressor line, and I think that's it.

I do go off road, but not rock crawling. Sound like I will pass, kind of sucks because it's right in my price range for a plate bumper.

Your best bet is to wait for an SOS Concepts group buy. You can get a bare bumper shipped to your door for less than $800 during those. He usually runs them every few months.

This guy actually expected us to believe he fucked up an ARB bumper? The ARB demolishes both parties of an accident while Australians chuckle at the evil they're created.

Ok, time to catch up on this thread

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago directly from the seller for a 5% off for $568 shipped.

Open it over the weekend I open it up and one of the bracket was bent from shipping. I hammered it back in placed. Also slight blemish on one corner due to shipping.

The mount takes at least 3 people to install since it so heavy. It didn't come with any instructions. Took us 2 hours to install and another 2 hours to troubleshoot. (details later). You literally take off all bumper components and skid plates. The bumper mounts onto your sway bar bolts. You will have to cut both fender well plastic covers.

After the install, it was flush on driver side and and off about 1 in. on passenger side. During the troubleshooting process, we loosen every single bolt and tried to flush passenger side. In the end, both side is now open about 1/2 in.
On another note, I broke the welded nut in the box frame for the sway bar bolt. So it's just sitting loose right now. I been reading some threads about this and one member had a welder to weld it back on, another member mention to cut the bolt, and drill another hole on top of box frame and put a 5 1/2 in bolt through.

Overall, the installation was hard and the bumper is not flushed. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I just ordered my rear this morning, we shall see how it goes... I'm not so sure I'm saving much since I have to buy an after market receiver hitch.
