    Just as a heads up, I know @digitaLbraVo and @WileECoyote posted up some other HAM channels that are safer for us to use. I've since used 151.880 and had zero interference

    It should, I use the UV5R, same basic one as most of us, went to that channel just fine.

    It will, if you have the $20 one from Amazon, it's the same one I have, and most of us that go out in this group have.

    I won't be making this trip unfortunately. I've spent too much time driving recently and need a break. My bank account is also hurting since my last few mods

    Nope, luckily stopped after $60 gambling, but spent probably a few hundred on dinners and drinks with the girl :bananadead:

    It should be a fun trip. It's only 2 hours from me, but I just can't do it this time. I picked up my old valet job to work Saturday mornings for the next month

    I had more with me, but I knew how bad my credit card bill was looking before I came, so I had to have control haha. Thats the only reason I'm gonna be working valet the next month. I'm sticking to the minimums for everything. Costco bags of frozen chicken for lunches for the week. Gotta save all that I can
