No. In the most basic sense, octane values indicate a fuel's resistance to detonation, regardless of the fuel's composition or other additives.

In a related note, I had a dream last night that I would regret not taking advantage of this GB. Fuck.

    It seriously is
I was saying that my girlfriend last night

Me: "I think I need to take some time off from Tacoma World."
    Her: "Why?"
Me: "I keep wanting to do more and spend more. The guys were telling me about a pulley that'll get me more horsepower and I feel like I have to do it now."

@crashnburn80 did you upgrade your fuel pump when doing the pulley.

Not yet, it is on the TODO mod list. Since my truck was brand new I figured I could get away with it for a little while. I asked around to some guys running AFR gauges that had done the pulley but not yet the pump to make sure the readings were safe before putting the pulley on. AFR and boost gauges are also on the TODO list. The pump upgrade is highly recommended though, as not only is the stock pump near maxed out, the pump filter is really small, so any filter contamination could result in a lean condition. The URD kit upgrades to an larger exernal fuel filter in addition to the higher flowing pump.

Just realized, that is nearly $160,000. That has to be some sort of TW GB record, and a nice bump in monthly accessory sales for Sparks Toyota.

For those installing the BD Tuner, be prepared to work with their tech support during business hours. I spent 2 hours with them, but finally got it loaded.

+$0.20/gal for premium x 19gal if you ran it dry = $3.80 more per fill up. Completely worth it.
