Ocotillo Wells/Anza Borrego 10/21-10/23

Its all good. Always happens with the big group. Kind of bummed that most of the guys dropping out placed vote for Ocotillo instead of Johnson Valley. Probably will just select next location without a vote.

 

I don't even remember what I voted lol. I think I voted for JV?

Not sure if it would be an issue with anyone else being short notice, but I'm good with either. We are desert rats over here so the temp doesn't bother us any.

 

Gonna stick with Ocotillo for this weekend. We'll get out to Johnson real soon for some rock crawling.

lol sorry man I feel kinda bad about that. Especially because after more research I've learned that JV is probably more my cup of tea wheeling-wise, but either way this weekend turned out to be a really bad one for me. Bummed I can't come but hopefully we get to do something in Dec.

Lol no need to feel bad we got a huge group coming, its gonna be a blast. That Mojave Trail run in December is for sure happening so I got a couple of us listed already. We also gotta think about maybe doing a Death Valley run sometime. I think me and you talked about it one time.

 

I will be leaving from El Cajon and stopping by Julian for breakfast before heading down to meet up at the camp site. I'm a bit slow on the freeway but can caravan if your not in a hurry.

 

I honestly didn't even realize Julian was on the way lol. Everytime I've been to Ocotillo I always just take the 8 east. But breakfast in Julian would be nice, what time are you thinking about heading out?? I'll message you a for sure by Friday, I might be hauling a quad or dirtbike so I'm down to roll slower.

Truck won't be ready, so I won't be up there until early Sat morning. @Mike likes Tacos what time you think you'll head out Sat morning? I'm shooting to arrive by 8 AM, but can get there earlier to make sure I don't miss any morning runs.
