    As i was saying...in the wrong thread...i'd like to chop it. I think i remember back in the day (which was a Wednesday) i had an audio installer friend that would separate the antenna at the base somehow and chop it and glue it back in. Anybody ever seen that done?

    So I took it down the our maintenance shop here at work, put it in the vise, and twisted the ball off with vise grips. Used the chop saw and whacked off about 5 inches. Smoothed the end with the bench grinder and popped the ball back on. Took longer to walk down there than it did to complete the mod. I'll slap some paint on it when I get home. Who said @ChadsPride doesn't have some great ideas! Thank buddy!

    Oh you and the fiancé need to check it out!!! Don't let the line fool you. It goes quick and you can have a drink in line as you wait. Their frozen margarita is in the top 3 for Austin (IMHO) but no joke they are good!!! Burgers are awesome and if the Fiancé would rather have a salad they are awesome as well. Goto the Anderson Lane Location; bit larger than the South Congress location.
